You can have a Sonogram at any point. However if it is done to early (ex. 4 weeks) you may not see a heart beat. You may only see what they call the sac and fetal pole. Your Beta Hcg which is your "pregnancy hormone number" has to reach a certain number before you can get a really good look at what is going on.

I had my first when I was four weeks. However, absolutely nothing showed up. I went in three weeks later and there was my little bean! Heartbeat and all...I measured 7 weeks and one day.
I also had another at 11 weeks just because the doc wanted to check on the heartbeat and it was too early to hear via doppler...

I got my first one at 5 weeks, they wanted to make sure it wasn't an ectopic pregnancy. You couldn't really see anything but a dot. I then had my second one at 8 weeks and I could see his arms, legs, and even his eye sockets and mouth. It was amazing. I even got to hear his heart!♥ Fell in love at that exact moment!

nicely, to be basic you probably won't get the excellent photos except the toddler hasn't went into the delivery canal yet. Even then they nevertheless won't be that great. despite the fact that if, a 4-D ultrasound is relatively very well worth the prospect. they're so spectacular to have accomplished. My well being practitioner does them regulary at each ultrasound pass to and it is so neat to make certain your toddler yawn, rub it extremely is eyes, blink, stretch, suck its thumb. that's in order that spectacular. it could be worth getting.
