Lots and lots of good conditioner will bring it back. Also try leave-it conditioner treatments. When your hair is belached it loses mosture very easily because the structure of the hair was changed to take the color out. It basically becomes porous and mosture leaves the hair through these pores. So you need to condition it to close up those pores. Put a lot of conditioner after every wash. Maybe last time you didn't use enough conditioner or it wasn't very strong conditioner.

I have totally bleached long hair and I use Fructis "Length and Strength" it seems to work OK. I think Biolage is better, but it's expensive.

Yes, that could be the cause of split ends. Since the bleach is stripping natural oils and pigment from your hair, it can dry your hair out and make it brittle, causing split ends. Try deep conditioning it or getting it cut to get it healthy again.

I don't think people are supposed to use hair bleach, I thought that was really bad for you. Anyway, I don't think bleach causes split ends, but I wouldn't bleach my hair anyway!

hair bleach on a level 2 hair (dark brown) can be troublesome....it has open the cuticle too much....my suggestion to you is either on of these things.....happened to me 6yrs ago.....infusuim-23(its works wonders.....or aloe vera gel......try not to heat style the highlighted parts if you can....if you can't try a leave-in conditioner/spray gel.....AUSSIE makes a hybrid....works great
