RAW almonds. See Barry Sears' stuff on almonds or macadamia nuts for their important omega 3 and monounsaturated fat content. Roasting the almonds ruins the omega 3's. Lots of zinc and other minerals too, and vitamin E.

Of the nuts that you have on the list that you have given, for nutrition purposes, almonds followed by pecans are the ones that are most healthy. The others on the list, cashews and pistachios are of insignificant nutritional value.

All nuts have valuable protein and all have fat, but it is good fat. Almonds have the most antioxidants. They also have good vitamins and minerals.

I think almonds as long as you don't eat too many. A handful a day is plenty.
