Everytime I say that I speak Hebrew someone asks me how to say curse words in Hebrew. why not to learn the nice words?

who knows? I recently bought an Italian phrase book and was surprised at some of the stuff in there. One section is called
"In the bedroom" and in that section is "What did you say your name is". Good grief.

Who knows what is in the minds of all the crazy people you run into. I believe most are just curious and aren't sensitive to the way that question comes across.
There was a rumor, when I was a child, that you couldn't say curse words in other languages. Obviously that was incorrect as every language has a way to say unacceptable words they are just not said in our language.

I live in a mixed neighborhood. I've noticed that when the Hmong children write in chalk on the sidewalks, they make liberal use of our more pithy expressions.

That makes no sense. In Spanish we don't curse, at least not usually

because they want to learn how to insult people without having them understand. once i told this guy that "te amo" in spanish is a cuss word, but it actually means "i love you" and he went all around campus telling everybody "te amo"

i have no idea i know a bit of spanish (basic stuff) and somebody asked me how to say "f**** you h*" and i told him how to say "i love cheese" (yo amo quesilla) haha he was goin round tellin everybody he loves cheese...
