Have you ever heard the term "Emotional Infidelity" Love is made up of 3 parts Commitment, Intimacy and Passion.

SEX falls in the Passion category, you can still cheat in the 2 other areas.

Say cybersex with someone could be emotional infidelity, giving of yourself to someone else even for a brief moment.

that would depend on the reason for the agreement and how long it was intended to last.
if you both agree that the marriage should remain a full commitment, except there's no sex, then any behaviour would count as cheating.
if I was in that situation I would simply go ahead discreetly with someone else because it's very difficult for a guy to go without.

Well not committing to the relationship, if you're giving someone else your attention or sexual attention then that is cheating or making your partner not trust you. Sounds to me like you're really not that into the relationship?

The only person you are cheating is yourself.
I can't think of solid reason to abstain that would help a relationship.
and by your question it seems its not working
