yes.
this is proof positive of why there can never be only one "true" religion - even Christianity is actually a billion or so different ones.

Well, yes and no. There are certain things that all actual Christians agree upon in the New Testament, such as the fact that Jesus is God's Son and the Savior of the world. Things that Christians may disagree about, e.g., include how to interpret Paul's letters, since Paul was writing to specific people about specific concerns they had or that he had about them in setting up their churches. So the letters of Paul are more open to interpretation (same with Timothy et al.).
Yet there are some undisputed things that Christians will not argue about.
I know that not only the Christian faith believes the Bible to be the inspired word of God. There are books of the Bible--the Old Testament--that Judaism believes. I am just talking about the N.T. since I am Christian.
But anyway, yeah...there is a foundation that is not open to interpretation if one has accepted salvation through Jesus. What is open to interpretation are the points of theology that others suggest in other books of the Bible.
I hope this helps.

No. The number of sinners plus one is the number of Bible interpretations. Those who hold to the true and right faith do so; the rest make up their own interpretations.

Definately.
Problem is like with the NIV that we are now just beginnning to get versions (starting with NIV) that differe in meaning from gods word.
I do not consider NIV to be gods word in any way.
It has too many verses that are exact opposite in meaning of the same verse in KJ & older, and even has some of the previous versions removed....

No: there are many who claim to read the Bible, but actually just go along with what their father told them it meant, based upon what his father told him, based upon a minister who heard it from a teacher who has been long dead. Different interpretations are only possible when someone reads and thinks... so there are fewer than you might think.

No, there are massive interpretators, and meek readers who won't bother to check if those massive interpretations even make sense.

no dear, that's just another lie of the devil you don't believe exist to perpetuate the first lie that God's word isn't real and therefore God isn't real. I'm afraid you've just been decieved, that's all..
