Most young folk get knocked back from Police force as they have no life experience etc.

Police in my experience like to take folk on that have some other talent or trade. ie play an instrument (police band) car mechanics (repair police cars).

It basically means they are covering themselves in case you are crap at policing they can use you in other fields without hiring and firing, thus seen as a good career.

Also make sure his father and grandfather have no serious criminal records ie have served time in prison. this may go against him although they will not tell you.

He can enroll in the Police Academy after graduating HS. Or he can go to college and major in Criminal Justice. He should talk to a career counselor at school if he is 15.
