I have some idea of what you're going through. I had a crisis of faith when my brother and father died. I was 10 years old, I was so pissed off at God. I couldn't understand why this happened. I went to church, preyed and was a good kid. What had I done to deserve this?
God doesn't make bad things happen. He set the world in motion and bad things happen all by themselves. When god created us he gave us freedom of choice, next to life, it's his greatest gift. This is an extremely difficult time for you. I want to help but there's nothing I or anyone else can say that's going to make a big difference. If your strength fails you then fall back on your faith. I'm sorry you have to go through this.

Honey, God only gives you as much as you can handle.
I am sure that there are many people out there that don't know where to turn and are as in as much despair (or more) as you and they could really use someone like you to relate to.
You should be able to find some FREE grief counseling groups or support groups for children who have lost a parent, survivors of suicide victims, etc.
Take a deep breath and remember that God is a part of your life but you have to make the most out of the life that you have been given and that by losing faith and falling into despair, you are then giving up.
Keep your chin up and find others that you can support and that you can help rescue from these same issues.

Hey, sorry to hear what you're going through. This is a lot of tragedies to handle at once, I don't blame you for feeling hopeless. I'm sure the religious folks will tell you that "he" never gives you more than you can bear, stuff like this. I don't know, I don't believe in god; I've always believed in myself, and yes, many times I felt desperate, too; it seemed like nothing I was doing was making any difference. It is probably more comforting to find solace in religion, rather than in one's own strength. Do you have a pastor in your church you can talk to? It will really help to get it out, discuss it with someone. I realize that one doesn't always feel comfortable opening up to the family members - but sometimes it helps to find a neutral third party to talk to. Things will get better; right now you're having more on your plate than most people ever will. But everything passes in time, both good and bad. Best wishes.

Most Christians would refer you to the scriptures where Jesus promised pain and suffering in this world. Some sects have portrayed God as a sugar daddy who snaps his fingers when you call and who keeps you from pain and sorrow. This is not scriptural at all. Teachers and the Bible should lead us to a relationship with God where we say okay whatever you want to do with me is fine That is the beginning of life for most of us. Okay, kill me , God. Whatever yiou do, is fine with me. Yes, your family and friends will let you down. What alternative do you have? Look at the statistics for suicide and notice that atheists kill themselves more often than religious folk. Why is that such an attractive alternative? Find another church , another set of friends, try new hobbies or pursue a dream or talent you have. Work at this and see what happens. You are just sad and it is winter. If you need antidepressants , do that. Get a physical. Exercise. Find little pockets of joy and fill your life with them. I like to paint, for instance. I like to listen to music. I know that exercise always perks me up. So does a long shower. Add these to your life. Stop taking care of other people and take care of yourself for awhile. Peace.

I'm sorry that you have to deall with all this right now. But as a fellow christian I am here to tell you that God has not forgetten you. He will never leave you he is always by your side. Things may seem bad right now but things always get better. There are times that test your faith, but you have to know that it is in these times when you should hold onto your faith the most. Rememeber that God always loves you no matter what :) .
God Bless & Best Wishes

Bless your heart. You have been through so much. God has strange ways sometimes of preparing and strengthing us for life by putting us through trials. Apparently, God has allowed these circumstances to occur for a reason - you just have to be patient, not give place to the devil, and allow God in His time to reveal to you the reasons. I know that this is all a lot easier said than done. Leading a Christian's life can be a trial, but this is the way I see it. If God didn't love you, He wouldn't be testing you or preparing for something coming up. What we consider bad things are not necessarily bad to God if it fits His will for your life. It takes a lot of strength to persevere and hang in there, but that is my advice to you. I will be praying that God will use you to reach others and will give you the inner strength to make it through these trials. My Grandmother used to say, "If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it!" Take care and may God bless you and your family.

What you need to remember is god will not give you more than you can handle. Everything we go through in life is a growing experience and something for us to learn from. It may not seem like it now, but maybe this is God's way of leading you in a path you never knew was their for you.
Find someone in your church who you can lean on, it will help and things will get better. Just remember:
"What does not kill us only makes us stronger"

when i have been at my worst and feel like God hates me I remember that God says in the Bible that he will never gives us more then we can bare. He is getting you ready for some great work hold in there. I remember a sermon that I hold close to heart when I am going through extreme times is this..the devil wouldn't be bothering you if you weren't doing something right!! The devil isn't going to try to ruin your life and bad things happen unless you are following God with all your heart..He is trying to get you to give up on God ..Hold on the blessings will roll in soon don't give up
