Because a vacation is typically somewhere you WANT to be and school is not. You're typically not as receptive to learning when you generally are not interested or enthusiastic to be in a learning setting.

Because you are half-dead because school is so boring and on a vacation you actually want to learn.

Because you are having fun and learning outside of four white walls and a boring, monotonous teacher.

Getting students out of the classroom, and interacting and seeing things up close and in person is always a better way for students to actually remember more and be interested.

Because in school they try to recreate experiences. On vacation you are living the experience. That's the key difference.

school is not for learning it teaches you to use your brain ,Everybody learns most of what they know outside ,and after school
i learned most of what i know after 20,then 30,then 40 ,50
and i am still learning as fast as ever,maybe even faster

Probably because your mind is more engaged when you're on vacation. You're seeing and doing new things so your brain stays active and soaks up more.

Be caue your brain is not on a learning schedule therefore it isnt under the preasure of learing that new problem or that new concept or that new word. Your brain is more relaxed.
