Kill cleanly using a kosher method. Drain blood. Smurf will now be pale blue. Skin the Smurf and remove internal organs, taking care not to nick the intestines. Discard all. The liver is not edible.
Remove arms and legs...; slice about 1" thick for chops. Using the chart for pork, butcher the carcass into other cuts such as shoulder, short ribs, etc. (If you can't do this yourself, check the Yellow Pages for someone who butchers specialty game like Muppets or Teletubbies.)
Anything left over can be ground for meatballs or Smurf loaf.
I make the latter with peeled hard-boiled eggs inside, topped with bacon and crumbled bleu cheese.

I've had rave reviews when I've braised them. Braised smurf has many advantages for the home cook today. Unlike sautés, which must be used immediately, braised smurf has great staying power. They may be served hot or at room temperature. You may refrigerate pieces 1 or 2 days and serve them cold. This is a fine general-purpose method. It takes about an hour, plus 15 minutes if you elect to do a preliminary browning.

Id say the best way to cook a smurf is in a blueberry pie...You can use them in place of blueberries...same for pancakes but you have to dice them up more...
Just remember to remove the hat and trousers first.
One other thing. You can drink a smurf too

I LOVE smurf-kabobs on the grill. Be sure to marinate at least 2 hours as they can be tough sometimes.

BBQ them on a skewer with a light and tangy orange marinade. Then serve them with an array of steamed vegetables and rice.

Slow turning rotisserie. Avoid acetone as it tends to dissolve them.
