Therefore if a church is not doctrinal, you must first expose the error....if the Pastor will not correct it, you must leave. I had to do that myself, before. Hope this helps.
Also another verse...."If any man come unto you and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed;
"For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds"
While the context is clearly talking about inviting someone into your home, anyone with one eye and a half sense can also connect the dots to know the Lord wouldn't want you going to a church full of doctrinal error, either.

There is no book of the Bible that states that.We are living in the age of grace. You have liberty you can leave any church you may be a member at anytime. You should leave a church that is not teaching that the Lord Jesus Christ did it all for you. He died for your sin, He was buried and took you sins away and He rose again the third day for your justification. 1 Corinthians 15: 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; You should also leave a church that has put you under the law that God gave the Nation of Israel. Romans 2: 14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Romans 6: 14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

I am not sure if you are searching for the text in Paul's letter to the Corinthian brethren or if you are referring to revelation when John warned about "Babylon the Great" that believers should come out from among them. That reference is in Revelation 14.
2 Corinthians 6:17 - "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord..."

Where the Old Testament leaves off with God the Father, because it has been fulfilled; the New Testament continues with the New Covenant of Jesus Christ.
It has been handed down through the ages from the Apostles themselves. These Apostles gave their up lives as a testament to this truth.
Christian have broken from the original faith, due to issue's that have come up over time (ex. divorce), and started new Christian religions.
I prefer to stick with the original Catholic Religion of the Vatican in Rome which is prayed over and studied by many religious scholars before a decision is made to change anything.
No one is forced into believing, God gave us a free will.

I haven't seen a scripture that states that but using Paul as an example he says, "follow me as I follow Christ". If the head (Pastor) is not following Christ, why would you follow him. There are a lot of things/people in the church that aren't "right", but if that leader is a true man of God, hearing from the Lord and concerned for his flock, he will handle those issues and teach properly.
