If your faith is strong, not a basher in the world could shake your faith. You don't gain anything from bashing other religions. That's just because they're scared that you may live a better life and afterlife than they will. They're trying to bring you to hell with them. Pray for them and keep going.

Mashallah. Very intelligent question from you sister, lets see if I could answer it. Yes its only lead to hatred. People often forget the other religion derived of Abraham's god or as the "Abrahamic religions" Maybe some of the followers of all religions just don't know how to listen. What does anyone gain from insulting others' beliefs and religions?
Absolutely nothing. With the feeling of guilt at betraying ones self and betraying others one feels more self-hate.

No, if You want real results You have to burn a few People alive; that'll get their attention. Bashing them only makes them more determined to keep their Faith, it's the fear of being burned alive that will get them to convert; it's worked very well in the past for Roman Catholics; Islamic Fundamentalists; even Protestants. You may want to check about the legality of this in Your Country or State first though, it's not as widely accepted as it once was and there may be some law against it now. I hope this helps.

I think bashing other people's religions can affect people depending on the person and how religious they are. I think bashing other people's religions is very insensitive.
I don't think there is anything to gain from it. If anything I think it only causes problems. I mean look at Iraq and the Middle East where it's causing wars.

Yes! If you bash anyone's religion It would only hurt you more.. God wants us to love one another not to hurt them.
For God so loved the world ..... Means a whole lot more.......
Yes it would affect them a great deal.... It could cause them to turn against you and any religion that they might have.... But there may be others who are stronger than that and may cause conflict ................Please don't for sake or bash anyones religion?
They have the right to believe in any religion as we do...........

Hopefully, it'll open a few eyes. As you put it, I bash religions, not religious people. It's sad to see how few people can see the difference. But I think we have the church to thank for that confusion.

When you attack someone their first reaction is to defend themselves...but if you come at them with an open mind and an open heart, then they are much more willing to listen to your views. You can't force someone to convert, but you can show them how your religion has affected your life. Bring them to the waters edge...the drinking part is up to them.

I find all public religious expression to be an insult to my beliefs, so really, to avoid conflict, shouldn't everyone just recognize the futility of believing in something non-existent and become rationalists?

Yes, it might encourage some questioning which so few religious people do. If you've never question your religion, you'll believe anything so I look at it as a service to God.

depends on the reasoning. it leads to hatred, but so does evangelizing to people who are sick of hearing it. bashing and pushing your religion on someone else both are disrespectful and create a spark. perhaps everyone should keep to themselves.
