Almost all Veggies are avalible in canned and frozen.
I have never seen canned Broccoli or Califlower either for that matter.

It would get mushy. gross. frozen is a much better option because freezing locks in the nutrients and keeps the broccoli crisper.

They probably could can broccoli stalks, but the best part is the top and it is too tender to stand up to the high heat that occurs in the canning process. You don't see canned lettuce and other vegetables are not the best canned... example aspargus. If broccoli was canned then it would only be good for soup.

i guess becuase theyll get crushed and everybody wants crispy fresh brocolli

its too big to fit in a can even when it is cut up. you wouldnt get very many little "trees" in a can.

Because it is best when fresh and it doesn't do well with preservatives.
