It's a gift from God to a willing child, I'd say thanks for being willing.

I would let him be. Just as long as he does it in good faith and in the name of service. I have my reservations about commending him but definitely I will not commit him. Whether he has his gift from the good or bad spirit, as long as it is healing someone, I will not make anything to spoil his fun and glory, after all. I know there is only one good source where it came from. The only thing I am worried about is the payback if it came from the negative source and used to take advantage of the ignorants.

It depends on whether this person just said they could do these things or if they could demonstrate their power. I would ask to see some sort of proof. I'd ask them to heal someone sick or injured, or ask them to conjure spirits in a way that I could experience them as well. If they could do those things, I'd commend them, if not I'd commit them.

As long as they are not hurting anyone or making lots of money, then I would commend them.
If they are making lots of money on the situation, you can bet, in a world of virtually no regulation enforcement, that simple richness does not satisfy them. Some out there in our world want to be the first Gazillionare.

commend of course; if it's good then the one who does it deserves praise. if something's good don't we all want to tell our friends! precious' is right though it is a gift from above. but the times are here where even the elect can be fooled if it were possible, have you never read? soo yeah commend

Well if it actually happened then they are not hallucinating any of it, ergo no reason to commit them. Though you should be careful a Jahova's witness might burn them at the stake saying that they used the power of the devil. I on the other hand would see it as a gift from God or at the least some sort of harnessing of forces that are as of yet unexplained.

Not commit.

It can be considered as a Spiritual Gift, and if utilized properly is a wonderful thing. Just like any Spiritual Gift from God, it can be used to do good or evil. If the person chooses to do ill will toward others, or to capitalize (make money) on it, then it is a shame unto them. Attitude and how it is utilized makes all the difference.

I'd have to see for myself first - If I believed him was genuine, I'd commend him - If not, I'd ignore him.

Neither. It's all for the glory of God. They aren't doing it, it's a gift from God, so really He is doing it through them. They wouldn't be able to without that gift.
