Hi, I would like to know if there are any no kill shelter/organizations that are in san jose, santa clara, campell, sunnyvale anywhere that's near or close to san jose. I will pick one of the organizations/shelters and talk about the org/shelter on san jose state radio. I want people to know that animals do need help also.Thankyou.

Try the Humane Society of Silicon Valley...

FYI, any animal shelter will put animals down if their medical needs are greater than what can be provided, or if their situation means their quality of life is below standard. The term "humane" means that sometimes, the kindest, most considerate thing you can do for the animal is to put it out of its misery.

If they're a true no-kill shelter, that means that they don't actually go out and rescue animals from dangerous situations - because that means you'll sometimes get some that are in too much pain to be left alive. They only take animals that are in condition to be adopted - the cute ones, the young ones - nd therefore don't need your help to get them adopted.

The animals that really need help are the ones who have previously been mistreated, and you usually won't find them at a "no-kill" shelter.

go to petfinder.com.....this is a site for rescue groups.....just enter your Zip code, and be AMAZED at how many great choices you have !!......after entering your Zip codes, you can see some of the groups in your area, and they could all use help with publicity, for people to adopt dogs !!!
