My sheep know my voice John 10:4 ; What God gives brings light, joy, peace, and direction,it will agree with scripture and almost always be in agreement with those brothers and sisters who are faithful. On the other side the devil brings confusion and darkness, fear and depression. When I was first a Christian the devil kept telling me how unworthy I was, that I didn't read my Bible enough. The more I read it the more he condemned me and said I still wasn't reading it enough.Reading are Bible is a good thing and we should all be reading it.But we are to be temperant in all things even when we read are Bibles. The devil comes as a thief and a liar but never brings the peace and joy that is always present with the Holy Spirit our Comforter.John 14:15-18

Salvation.
Ephesians 2:8 - For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
James 1:17 - Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
The Holy Scriptures tell me that the gift is from Jesus Christ (the Father of lights). And is confirmed by the Holy Spirit blessing my spirit.
Ephesians 3:7 - Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

Jesus reminds us that every single moment offers us a fresh start. Each moment is a new opportunity for communion in Spirit. This gift is most often understood as forgiveness. Think about it: forgiveness from Jesus is infinite and available in every single moment. Every moment is new and can be fresh. Jesus reminds us that we can be free - some gift!

He gives me gifts every day, first the gift of life, then pain that led me to salvation, then that very salvation. Now he gives me wisdom, patients, humility, love, a heart that breaks for the world, growth, and the ability and desire to worship him with everything I have. I know it's from Him because the devil doesn't give such gifts, and no god made by man has done what Jesus did to save His children. He was humiliated, stripped, broken, beaten and murdered, but he did it all for us. what other religion begins with the humiliation of it's God? His love is His greatest gift for it would take a strong love to give that to His disobedient children.

He gave you the gift of life. Everything that you acquire in this world is a gift from God. Really, it's more of a loan because it's still His. You can't take it with you when you die. He will then loan it to someone else.

His gift is the ransom, which opened the way to everlasting life for all who would believe and exercise faith in him. Read John 3:16.

I know when I get a gift from Him when I get a weird feeling that I got something special for a reason.
