I think this person is hiding and that is why police cant find her but I doubt she will show up for court anyway, so what can I do?

You can still have a court date and they will issue you a temporary order of protection and try to locate her, if you can locate her just hand her the papers, or mail them to the last known address or place of employment.

In the State of New Jersey they will issue the order in her absence and then try to serve the papers. If she does not appear a warrant will be issued for her to appear before a Family Court Judge

So? look after your self. If she's already pass the order in place, only stay faraway from her, that's no super imposition often. that's why this is relatively ordinary to get an Order, and it is likewise why they are no longer considered important. they're very common in divorce circumstances, and that they actually recommend no longer something different than the face.

She sounds like a mess......just be careful in the meantime ok? Rely on the good old buddy system when out. At least carry some pepper spray in case she tries to attack. She sounds like a loser.

is the person you trying to protect a family member you can still get issued but so times they will but a warrant out for them

I don't think she needs to show up to have a PPO brought against her. And if you never find her again, then mission accomplished, right?

that's the problem. if you cant serve the papers, it isn't official. you either need a private detective or you need to do it yourself with friends to track the person down.

don't go looking for someone you are getting a ppo for. hire a p.i. and let them do it for you.
