This is getting to be serious. Yes cats can take up to 24 hours to give birth but usually they do not take longer. You said she is a kitten which I will assume you mean she is a very young female and this would be her first litter. Her contraction are stopping for way too long in between and you need to take her to a vet to have induced (like a women they need to give her a shot that will start back the contraction of her uterus) the kitten inside may be dead and starting to poison your cat. You need to go to a vet no way about it. If you love her and you're worried load up mommy cat and new babies in a crate (never separate a mother from her new born kittens not even for a short period of time) and take a ride to the local vet! NOW

If there are still kittens in there you MUST take her to the vet. If the babies have died inside her she could get an infection and DIE.
I know there is always a voice in your head saying "what if I'm procrastinating" but you should also say What if I'm not. For the health of your cat and your own peace of mind I would take her to the vet.

Im sorry but the only way to be sure that she wont die due to a still born in her is to go to the vet. She seems to be having to much trouble having her kittens and needs help. I know we think of them giving birth as a natural thing that needs no help, but she could die. You need a vet to help you, there is not much else you can do.
Good luck, and please take her to the vet.

There isn't much you can do other than going to the vet and getting an ultrasound to make sure there isn't a kitten stuck in the birth canal.

If you don't take your cat to the vet NOW you run the risk of losing all of them, momma and babies! If you're worried, take her now and work out payment later.
