"And we aren't greedy? How about the richest 10% owning 90% of the country!?!?"

I don't see where this is Americas problem. Why do we have to support Mexico’s people? Just because they don’t like their standard of living! They should make changes in their own country and fix Mexico. Instead of coming here and leaching of the U.S.

I would rather have the standard of living as Bill Gates but you don’t see Americans invading his compound and stealing his life style and money!

Its because the wealth of that nation is so distributed that the rich get richer and the poor are in abject poverty. You as a citizen cant work for a livable wage because the rich keep the employment wages so low and they don't have a welfare system to help the people that really need it.The government does not seem to have much concern for its most needy people. The country encourages its poor to immigrate to the US so that they can send remittances back to Mexico at a rate some where between 30 and 45 billion dollars a year. That money is put into the Mexican economy and has become a huge asset to Mexico. Its like found money. So why bother to try to fix Mexico's problems when they can send them/encourage them to immigrate illegally to another country.Mexico benefits both ways.1 They don't have to be bothered by millions of their own poor and 2 The country gets the billions of dollars sent back to the Mexican economy. For Mexico its a win win proposition. The poor people and the country's they immigrate to illegally pay the cost.

Here's the gag: The day Mexico starts to take care of its' own people instead of using them as tools to run the Big Game against the United States, that's the day they start losing money.

Yeah, I have to tell you that I can't believe you fell for the imposters who are impersonating me. I am on level 3, they are on level 1, usually. I don't EVER post poetry here, just so you'll know so I would appreciate a little more respect from you since I have NEVER disrespected you and I am on the same side. I wanted to send you an email but you don't have e-mail enabled.

Corruption is the name that is used in the case where the government starves its people and rapes the resources for their own personal gain. If the people would spend the time organizing amongst themselves and learn the systems that they live under, they might actually be able to effect the changes that are needed to get the food, and housing, and water that is a right of every person on this planet.

Mexican politicians and officials have always been among the most corrupt in the world. You can bet a lot of the oil money is going into their pockets while they send their people to the US to make money to feed their families.

No, it's not fair, nor is it right, but life isn't always fair.

Mexicans do love their country. You ask any of the ones that are now in America, and that's what they will say.
