im a christian, and i was discussing with a fellow christain about a church my little sister is attending. also known as G12, she got scared, because she has heard, that it is more like a cult, and i have read up on it online, i am open to insight from anyone who is willing to share

Cults are small deviations to the usual religion. People probably thought the apostles were starting a cult. The word cult has become a bad name for anything bad and weird. Don't worry if there is this label attached to it if it seems legitimate.

Any church that I have not heard of is most likely a cult. I have not heard of this one until now, and so I assume that it is likely a cult, though not necessarily "wrong"?

find out what they follow. you being a christian knows that the bible is the only teachings that are correct. i would ask your sister what they teach, and maybe go to a service with her. asking aorund you will get mixed answers, check it out once or twice and pray. god will let you know!
