Yes, private jets can fly in and out of commercial airports in the United States. They do not use the airline terminals. Instead they park at Fixed Base Operators (FBOs). The same type of security as the airlines use only exists at one airport that I know of. That is at Signature at Boston-Logan airport. It was installed after 9-11. There has been talk also of doing the same at Baltimore-Washington airport at another Signature there.
In the charter business, security is taken very seriously, however each airport conducts their security in different ways. For example, some FBOs will allow passengers to drive up to the aircraft, while other FBOs do not. The passengers are checked for identification and their names are checked against a "no fly" list, published by the government.
Many of the "high-profile" travelers who had routinely flown first-class before 9-11, have decided on either private, fractional, or charter flying to avoid the type of security, lines and delays common to commercial travel.

Probably your best place to call or check on the web is the FAA, or Federal Aviation Administration. My dad was a pilot. He flew military planes (big ones), and then retired, but still flew planes. He flew in and out of commercial airports all the time, as well as regional and municipal and FBO (Fixed Base Operations). He even flew into areas where the runway was a dirt strip (Big Bear, CA). He was an aircraft inspector and covered a lot of Central California and Nevada. Reno's airport was tricky with winds and an updraft with commercial traffic heavy at certain times. He always filed a flight plan, and told the Com tower where he was going (over next to a range of mountains), if the traffic got heavy. Because of his military training, he was able to avoid the commercial airliners, and still fly the friendly skies, without mishap.....but that was pre-9/11. Good luck, and call the FAA.

Yes they can. I fly a little single engined Cherokee into Vancouver International Airport. But I don't go to the terminal and I don't go through security screening. Private jets can fly anywhere there is a runway big enough.

yes private jets CAN fly in and out of commercial airports. All celebs must go through airport screening too, but they bypass the lines. Hope this helps.

Private aircraft can go in and out of commercial airports. There is usually a different terminal or FBO (fixed based operator) that the private aircraft use. The FBO usually has their own type of security to ensure the safety of there clients. Also one of the luxuries of having your own aircraft, depending upon the type aircraft, you can go into the smaller airports making travel a lot more convenient.

Well for instance say you are going to Danbury Airport in Danbury Connecticut from Manchester, England. You have to fly into Bradley International airport go through customs and then go on. So for internationals you have to fly to a commercial airport. Depending on the airport they go through security. I know in Waterury-Oxford Airport they don't but in a lot of them you do.

Yes they can. I spotted a ton of them flying in and out of Toronto in September for The Toronto International Film Festival. I don't know the answer to your second question but my guess would be that they do need to go through security.

Private Jets don't ordinarily fly in or out of commercial airports, they fly out of municipal or regional airports.
Those who have jumbo jets as their private mode of transport, probably don't go thru a smaller regional or municipal airport
Yes, they do go through airport security, but away from the prying eyes of the paparazzi.

Depending on the circumstances, yes. In most cases, it has to be an emergency landing. There are some people that get permission, but it is always up to the tower if it is not an emergency landing.
