I feel pity for those who feel no love towards those of other faiths simply and solely for that reason. The hell that they create for themselves in cultivate anger against so many people brings their souls into a very sorrowful and pitiful state.
Fortunately, I never claim to know the Truth (though do believe that I have discovered for myself a great many parts of it), nor do I accept that those of different faiths are insulated from enlightenment (i.e. the Truth).

I am a spiritual person. In fact a spirit filled person. I hate the word religion becuase it seems to have a bad stigma attatched to it. I base my "religoin" on my experience and my experiences with God are something I would love to share with others. So, I want to share with everyone what i believe is truth. I am a pig in the mud just like everyone else. Just becuase I found God does not make me better than anyone. Why feel sorry for someone when you can pray for them instead?

No. I admire anyone who has true conviction for their chosen religion and can do so without stepping on anyone else's beliefs. I pity fundamentalists of any religion, however, because they believe what they've been told and have no mind of their own, functioning out of fear and superstition rather than real faith and love for the religion. "Fear" of God is not LOVE of God. Besides, my religion has a clause that the heathens who do not know God will be saved if they at least have a hope that a god does exist. It has another clause, called the New Testament, that God, through Jesus' sacrifice, stopped being angry and vindictive and became loving and forgiving, and that never applied specifically to Christians only. So, whatever you believe is good with me as long as you are also good with me practicing my beliefs.

No, I think everyone has a right to follow the religion they want to. Actually some people claiming to know the truth do not even have the slightest idea what truth is. Not that I know it myself. It's just an observation.

No-the Buddha taught of the oneness of creation. All attain Nirvana eventually regardless of their beliefs and I only feel pity for those bound by the chains of their materialist desires-they deny themselves inner peace and eternal bliss.

Since I am not in any religion, I'll have to answer I don't feel pity for those who are. I think they're wrong, but so do they about me.

No indeed! If they show love and honour for what passes for God in their religion, then I am happy for them. If they are religious but haven't yet experienced enlightenment, then I pray for them. If they do not seem to have any religion, then I look for that in them that they seem not to have noticed and try to bring it out.
The Truth is seen by many people in many forms. My way of seeing it may not be valid for someone else.

I don't pity those who don't have the same religion, I pity those who have NO religion. We all need something to believe in.
