Why?No one has ever told me.Is it because they feel protected
with tall men?Is it because they think tall men are smarter?
Is it because they think their more macho?

I am not not asking this question because i am jealous of taller
men.I am not that short i am about 5'11 or 6'0 tall myself.
I am asking this question because a friend of mine's girlfriend
broke up with him because she said he wasn't tall enough.
My friend is shorter than me and i think it was wrong that she
broke up with him for that reason.

It is superficial and irrelavent. That being said, I have to agree that being tall is definitely not a disadvantage. Tall would be at worst a neutral to positive attribute. On the other hand, being short would be a neutral to negative attribute. Actually, it's really how you carry yourself. It boils down to attitude, personality and self-confidence. Tall people may tend to have more self-confidence than some shorter men. I think girls find a self-confident men much more attractive than men with confidence issues. I personally am just slightly taller than my fiancee. She's 5'8" and low 120's weight wise. I however am in the mid-190's and outweigh her by a good 70 lbs. No, I'm not overweight...I have a 30" waist. I have a very athletic/muscular build.. I believe my very muscular build more than compensates for any lack of a few vertical inches. Perhaps that is why I am very self-confident and successful. Just some advice for men short or tall who may lack confidence. Laterz...

It's because tall men have a better chance of protecting their women from threats. And women feel safe when they're around them, unless they have a reason to suspect they have malicious intentions. So women are attracted to men that can give them better lifes and protection. Like women can be attracted to a short man with a job, or a tall man with no job. But if the shorter man looses his job, the woman will soon leave him. So to sum it all up. Women are selfish savages who will screw anyone over in or

I think most women feel the man should be taller because of the image thing. The man is suppose to be the one to take care of the woman, be stronger, hence be taller. I am 5ft10in tall, so I, yes prefer taller men. But that's my family, my dad is taller than my mom, my uncles taller than my aunts. That's how societies image has made things-men should be the taller, stronger sex. Most women don't feel that way though, my sister is 5ft9in and her fiance is 5ft4in. Personal preference, just most of us still look at the "norm".

Me?? I like to be able to have heels on and not look over his head. And it- is -a girl- thang, I think! It just makes me feel protected in a sense. Then God made it that way! I mean I know that there are couples everywhere, where the female is taller. Tom Cruise and his baby Mama, but I prefer men taller. But it should not be a problem with anybody. The world is full of all size men and women.

well, I think you are stero-typing too much. I like men that are taller than me, yes, but that's not hard, I am only 5'1. Lot's of my galpals like their men the same height as them, not tall-tall. Maybe it's just cause we're used to short guys or what, but either way, not all women DO like tall guys.

The part for proper habits is contained in the one to three chapters. This talks about the proper food to eat, proper posture and sleeping habit. I have on occasion had a hard time with men who were significantly shorter than me. They acted funny about it. Other than that, i have no problem with shorted men. I do not seek out tall men. In college I did date a guy who was 6ft 6 because he made me feel short.

I feel protected when I am with them. Also I am married now but dated alot of tall men when I was single. You know I am tall therefore I need a tall man to go out with. I hoped this helped you. Good Luck and god bless.
