You can APPLY for a visa to France, subject to French immigration laws. If you are now China, you may contact / approach the French Embassy in Beijing for detailed arrangement.

Where you work makes no difference. It's the nationality in your passport that makes a difference.
I would say that its likely you could get a visa for France if its just for a holiday or visit
