You can APPLY for a visa to France, subject to French immigration laws. If you are now China, you may contact / approach the French Embassy in Beijing for detailed arrangement.

Where you work makes no difference. It's the nationality in your passport that makes a difference.
I would say that its likely you could get a visa for France if its just for a holiday or visit

Contact the French embassy/consolate in your home country to see what you must do to go to France. You may need to send your passport to them by FedEx or other international delivery service.
