Well if you want alcohol stick with a vodka or a rum, you can do so much with them. Have them with juice to soda or a mixer almost anything you have will work. If you like sweet stuff then make a daiquiri or something with a sweet mix and if you like more of a sour thing screwdriver or lemon aide, tom collins mix is on the sour side. Also neither of these alcohols have to be to costly you can buy a decent bottle and something to drink it with for probably $30 or less if you wanted to.

My first hard alcohol I drank was Yukon Jack - an appropriate name because I yuked on just about everybody. Assuming you are 21, I would start with something low proof say 60 proof or less. Maybe some Malibu rum and coke or Stoli Vanilla and coke. Stay away from doing shots, tequila, whiskey, Jagermeister, etc. Beer was always my favorite because at least you could count how many you drank, until of course you lost count. If you go beer, go light beer that is ice cold.

Try something really sweet for the first time to get rid of the alcohol taste. A screwdriver (orange juice and vodka) or Bloody mary (tomato juice, spices and vodka) might be a nice choice.

I like Aftershock and the Smirnoff twists. Aftershock has a very distinct hot cinnamon flavor. The Twist drinks vary by flavor (as expected), but I like the fact that there isn't the yeasty beer scent and flavor.

Try a chardonnay (it's white wine) or a merlot (it's red). Or get some vodka and mix it with orange juice (a screwdriver). If you don't want to throw up, don't drink too much.

Gin and tonic or replace the tonic with Squirt or 7 UP.
This was my introduction to the hard stuff and it goes down pretty good. Tastes like soda so watch out you don't drink too much.

your best bet would be to start with a light beer first time around like bud lite, coors light, see how you handle that before venturing out to the hard stuff,oh yea make sure you eat a good meal several hours before drinking to keep from hurling, don't eat chocolate after drinking will make you hurl

You'll just love " MIKE'S HARD LEMON-ADE".-you'll be able to handle that, no problem.
Also, if buying your own at a liquor store, try 'BOONE'S FARM WINE" (any flavor) , you can handle that , and it tastes GREAT.
BEER is always a GREAt STARTER , too, but you have to acquire a taste for it if you never drank it .
GOOD LUCK , and don't drink & drive , or get into a vehicle with people that do. The life you save may be your own .

I can help you with beer and wine. A very nice, easy to come by beer is Newcastle. Of the widely available brands, this is probably my favorite. For wine, try a Fat Bastard shiraz.
