It stands to reason that if jesus were a carpenter, then he should have left behind some buildings, or some furniture, or some example of his work, You'd think that christian collectors would pay a premium for that stuff. Maybe he sucked at being a carpenter so he decided to become a hippy instead?

No. There is no physical eviudence of him at all. Even the town where he supposedly grew up (Nazareth) didn't exist until it was invented hundreds of years after his supposed death.
