It sounds like a contact allergy to something in your clothes - like detergent, or to jewelry like a necklace. The rash is a ring around the neck, because your clothes/jewelry rub against your neck in that area. Its highly unlikely that ringworm has formed a perfect ring around your neck.

sounds like heat rash.......if you have been sweating recently and didnt dry off around your neck that could be what it is....or your shirt may have irritated your neck where the collar would be....or you could be allergic to you laundry soap if you have recently used something else......

Some medications can cause this and it can be a life threating situation if that is what it is from. If no medications are involved then it may be nothing

if its a ring type, it might be a ringworm. have the Dr check it out. Or go on webmd.com

the shingles it is cause by having bad nerves and you need to go to the doctor if it is shingles
