After a person has been saved, Jesus says, "Go, and SIN NO MORE." He doesn't say, "It's OK for you to keep on sinning." The 10 Commandments are a mirror that show us how we are sinning. The Holy Spirit convicts us in our hearts, and we are obligated to turn from those sins. It is following the 10 Commandments that sets a Christian apart from your average atheist.
A person who "turns away" from you when you point out his sins or gets angry, does so because the Holy Spirit has convicted him in his heart of his sin, and it makes him angry, because he is not willing to turn from it. Unless this person loses his stubborn streak and turns from his sin, he will be lost.
We are told to "rebuke" our brothers who have fallen in sin. However, Jesus tells us "don't point out the speck in your brother's eye, when you have a beam in your own." Make sure that you don't have any glaring sins before pointing out your brother's sin.
Pointing out sin is not "judging". Judging is telling people that they are going to Heaven or Hell. That's not your job, that's Christ's job. By the way, when people point out sin, they are merely reflecting what the 10 Commandments say, so it isn't really them, but God who is pointing out their sin.

I think it is neccessary to judge people sometimes. Lets say you are at a club or school or something and someone comes up to you full of tatoos and they smell like smoke and they are drunk. If you dont like that, you need to make a judgement about them right away and say to yourself' hey im not going to hang around someone like this, i am better than this and this is bad influence' That kind of judging is good i think. People are too sensitive and politically correct these days. if someone is doing wrong tell them so and help them fix it and maybe they will find Jesus in the process. But do not judge them if its something they cannot control like their looks or their family income or where they live.
Oh, and dont ever 'preach' to people. they will stop listening and think u are just trying to convert them. just help ppl be good.

You are correct.
But, it isn't the job of a Christian to bring people to Jesus, it is our job to show them the path to Jesus, they are to make the walk over to Him themselves. You know, plant the seed, let God to the gardening.
As for judging, judge the action, not the person in the act. There is a huge difference.

Yes, it's true. Christians need to stop scaring people off by telling them that they're full of sin and will go to hell if they don't follow Jesus. That's not how it is! Christians need to stop blah blah blahing, because everyone has heard it before. They need to start SHOWING people Jesus through themselves and their lives. Witness, Represent, SHOW the world who Jesus is! THAT is what makes the difference!

this is correct, we are here to set the example and show the way, be a seed for no believers. howerver, being a chirstian means to love your brother and sister. if i see a fellow christian in a hole, it is my job to talk to that person, let them know what they are doing is wrong. not in a judging manner but in a nice helpful way. sometimes they dont realize what they are doing, and have u ever had a fellow christian tell you what ur doing is against god? i have, and man it sucks! it will get you thinking and back on his path way fast!

I don't feel you should ever point out someones sins, that comes back to that saying
People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
Unless you are perfect (which noone is) then you should not judge. God does that and if we follow in his footsteps we would forgive everything. We should preach that God forgives so that they will want to come to him, if they only are shown their sins, they will feel unworthy. They will think that since they did so much wrong, who could possibly forigve them and love them.

The Bible does say that we confront them if their is sin in a persons life it also states that we should depart from sinner until that person has repented.
Would you prefer to loose a persons friendship on earth or would you rather have their souls lost forever in hell??

We shouldn't judge, yes. But one needs to be first convicted of sin before they realize their need for a savior. How can you convince someone they need a savior when they believe they haven't done anything wrong?

We are to bear witness to God and Jesus' as our savior. We arent to judge, we arent to condemn. We are to rejoice and celebrate God for the loving father he is.
Once I devoted my life to God, my life had improved. Sure I didnt get rich or anything, but the peace and the joy I feel are tremendous.
