1) Israel has been re-established as one country (instead of 2, as it was from after Solomon's death through the last diaspora) and the regathering of the people has been going on since that time. See Ezekial 37.

2) Jesus' parable of the fig tree is recorded at Matthew 24:32-35. (The fig tree is the ancient symbol of Israel.) He tells us that when Israel becomes alive again, the end is near. Israel announced about a year ago that, for the first time in nearly 2,000 years, there are more Jews living there than anywhere else in the world.

3) Russia and Iran have formed a pact for the first time in all of recorded history; Ezekiel 38:16 tells us this will happen in the "latter days," a.k.a. the end times.

4) Eze. 38 & 39 also tell us Russia, Iran, Syria, Libya, Egypt and other Muslim nations will invade Israel in the end times. This prophecy is very near to fulfillment.

5) Jerusalem and Israel will be the cause of international disagreements and wars in the end times. Other nations will seek to take some of Israel's land away. (Zechariah 12:1-5). This has been fulfilled for the first time in history.

Do I need to go on? There is more, but I think I've made the point. We are UNDOUBTEDLY in the end times.

Peace.

Now as He [that’s Jesus] sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, ‘Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” And Jesus answered and said to them: ‘Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.”
Matthew 24:3-7

People say we always have had wars and famine but read on

“All these are the beginning of sorrows.”
Matthew 24:8

The word Jesus uses for sorrows is the word “odin” which translated means contractions or labor pains.

The closer the contractions the sooner the arrival

What are the three areas that Jesus said to watch out for?

Religious world
Political world
Natural world

Religious World:
It is estimated that about 1000 people in America alone claim they are Jesus

Political World:
In the 20th century over 200 million people died as a result of war
There are 38 armed conflicts going on in 28 nations
Terrorist attacks in 2003 totaled 175. It rose to 655 in 2004

Natural World
Almost 1/6 of the world’s population can’t meet basic nutritional needs
Pestilence- AIDS, SARS, Bird Flu, Mad Cow Disease, West Nile Virus
The Hurricanes of the past few yrs
In the first 1500 yrs after Jesus the earth averaged about 2 major earthquakes each century
But it made a dramatic increase over the next 4 centurites until it reached about 130 in the 1900s

I believe it.

There shouldn't be any. Jesus predicted that those of his own generation "would not taste of death" before judgement day. Guess what...they're all dead now. Long dead.

Thare are always wars and famine and disease and disasters of all kinds. Fundies were orgasmic over the idea of the end of the wor4ld when Israel was founded after WWII. Every single generation has proclaimed itself to be "the last", and they've all been utterly wrong. One day they'll grow up, but I'm not holding my breath.

It's always the time of the end for believers. Every generation in every century thought the world would end in their lifetime and all have used the very same scriptures to "prove it".

It's all so amusing to me that the believers don't research the history of their own beliefs.

The gathering of countries against Israel. End times will not begin until a "person" (anti-Christ) from the European Union draws up a seven year truce. This truce will only last 3 1/2 years, as Russian will instigate a large scale attack against Israel. In this attack, Russia and all of its Arab allies get their butts kicked, because Jesus comes back to settle the mess.

There is no need for one of The Faith to ba concerned about the "end times".... every individual needs to be concerned about their own "end time" which could come at any time and will eventualy.... For those who come to God in The Way He proscribes there is no need to be concerned any further... All who come to God in The Way He proxcribes will receive His free gift of Salvation and will enter Heaven when their end time comes here on this mortal earth.
