Accept it. You can't get any taller. Besides I'm 5 2' and I ♥ being called "shorty".

Yeah, meee too. I'm 5'2 AND 40+ years old, so I tell you with all honesty and sincerity, it really doesn't matter. I'm happily married many years now, and my height made no difference when I was young and single nor does it now. I've never had a peroblem being employed (except for the dream of runway model, lol)and the worst effect it's had on my life is reaching upper cabinets.
Work on what's inside, everything else will work itself out. And no, I'm not ugly. By any means. Think of it this way, there are people much shorter than you are. My daughter is 20 years old, BEAUTIFUL, and 4'11 & 1/2" (lol) She jokes to me all the time how if she were just 2" shorter, she could qualify for handicapped tags on her car! And all I can tell her is, sorry, I'm short, your Father's only 5'9, you unfortunately didn't have a chance in the height department! But she's had no "shortage" of men in her life. So there, we can't always get what we want, so be thankful for what you have. I'm sure you're a beautiful, interesting, young woman. Go enjoy your life and stop stressing over your height.

I'm relatively tall for a woman (5'9"), but I'm the short one in my family. At times I've wished I was taller, sometimes shorter. Try not to worry about your height too much. Just enjoy being you. I've learned that life is so much better when we stop criticizing ourselves all the time.
But if you're really feel short, you can always use fashion to your advantage - try styles that visually elongate your legs or take the old fashion route and break out the high heels.

If you're only 16, you might still grow a couple inches! How tall are your parents? You'll probably grow to be as tall as them. Even if you're done growing, don't stress over your height, I think it's better to be short! You can wear really cute heels (tall girls can't), you will look more feminine and curvy easily, and your jeans will never be too short! (you can get them hemmed, its like $5).
If you still want to grow, I'll donate some inches to ya, I wish I could lose a few!!

I like what the first girl said. You aren't going tp stop growing untill you are around 18, so you probably will get a inch or two taller but if you don't that's okay

I think its much nicer to be short! Look at all these really tall girls, most of them look like men( no offense to tall people, some are pretty!) Think of it this way, at least you will always find a date that is taller then you! Guys hate it when they are shorter then the girls!

Don't worry about it, I'm only 5 ft 2.5ins and I'm 24. I know a lot of people of varying ages who are of a similar height, plus you have time to grow.
