I walk every day for 40 minutes, sometimes when I feel tired, sleepy or without energy I dont know if I should still walk or its better not to do it.
Whats the best thing to do? listen to your body and rest? most of the times I want to walk but I have no energy.

Absolutley not. Your bodys is telling you, and you should listen.
Give your body a rest for a day (if you regularly work-out) one day without won't do harm. Also, are you taking multivatimins? How about protein shakes? GNC has a great Muscle Milk Mocha Joe that is delicious! Your body needs a supplement to put back what you are taking out. Not only fat! But your also loosing important minerals and need supplements.

Listen to your body and rest. Watch and make sure you have plenty of sleep and foods with a great deal of protein. Your body burns more calories walking than any other exercise because all groups in your body are workinbg together as you walk. Don't worry about how much you sleep if you only feel sleepy when you do this.

Energy drinks are mostly sugar and caffeine, which both cause temporary boosts in energy and alertness, followed by drastic crashes in mood and energy. Any other herb/chemical that the energy drink claims to have does the same thing: It will boost your energy and then crush your total body alertness. Also, energy drinks are very, very unhealthy. Prolonged exercise and improved fitness will give you permanent boosts of energy. Your daily activity is exhausting your body. But if you improve your fitness, your daily activity will seem like little compared to your workout. It will seem easier, and so you will be less tired. Of course for the first few weeks or so you'll be exhausted, having to add another bunch of work to your workday, but it's worth it.

sometimes the LACK of exercise is what causes a lack in energy! I ran cross country track, did cheerleading...and stayed really active...when I went to work..I stood there..and lost energy because...I didn't move around like before..IF you FEEL you should walk that MIGHT improve your mental feelings...and that will increase your energy

You should take at least one day off a week. Plus, vitamins could help you if you don't take them already. You could also see your doctor if the problem persists. It could be low iron, a chemical deficiency or even a problem with your metabolism. In other wise, your lack of energy may not be the problem but a symptom of a larger problem.

if you really think that you are tired then go ahead and rest, but if you are just unmotivated then you really need to walk.
