My ex boyfriend contacted me on msn today and I was surprised cuz we haven't spoken in 4 months. He use to say hi to me after he ended it , but he stopped that. That's why I was sooo surprised when he said hi today. We only dated for one month, he ended it 8 months ago saying he was "busy" and it was so innocent, only kissing, cuz he knows I wanna save sex for marriage, so why does he still care? Neways guys, WHY do you so this to your ex-girlfriends? I mean you dump a girl, so why do you contact her later and ask all these nosy questions? My ex was so nosy when he said hi, asking me all these questions, especially about what I wanted to do after university. But what did he REALLY want to know?
I know some may say he was just saying hi to be friendly or was just curious, but WHY is he still trying to be nice or why does he still care what goes on in my life? Guys are soooo weird, they dump a girl, but still wanna know what goes on in her life, WHY??????

What is wrong with him caring what goes on in your life. Just because he dumped you does not mean he cares. Its just what you said. He respects your innocence of saving yourself. When he gets through running around he might be still interested. If you can not handle being friends with him then cut your conversation short. The question is can you handle being friends with him?

I'm still on friendly terms with 90% of my ex's.
I don't contact them but most of them would probably recommend me to a new girl I'm dating.
I think he might be that type. Just concerned, and caring. If we can't be lovers and we can't be friends, doesn't mean I can't be someone you can rely on to be there if you ever need me. I won't call or ask questions. You'd be surprised how many do call when they need something, no strings attached.

He may have realized he made a mistake and wants to get back with you but is afraid to just come out and ask you. They want to find out what your doing, so they can plan ahead.

Its possible that he is trying to reconnect with you, or he just wanted to catch up with you just as friends.
