No one church is perfect, remember that, but if you can see blatent scriptual problems with how things are practiced there, it's time for you to move on.

why do you worry, it's because, you want to save your life and to be with Jesus Chris when he come back. Don't trying to follow others patterns, which is good according the position where you standing. you need a Church that has a standard of spirituality foundation. Remember that not everyone who is calling the name of God, who is going to the paradise. What is your reason for being in the church. It's because, you want to belong to the second second returning of Jesus Chris. If so, do not involving in the church corruptions, it's better to find a church that looking for God. Where the foundation is base on Jesus Chris than money. Be careful this they day. There are many secs. But, find the one that more likely base on adoration and separate yourself from corruptions. your Bible said said. Do you remember, when Jesus went to the temple, where people sold all kind things in there. What Jesus done? Jesus Chased them and throwed them out of the temple. Search the salvation.

I am Pentecostal, but not a Oneness Pentecostal - as I believe in the Trinity as one would see throughout scripture. You may want to read John 17 to see what Jesus has to say of Oneness (an old Sebellion herecy - 32 AD) - as oppossed to more than one. I think or believe you will see more than one spoken of here. Not merely living on Acts 2:38. This might be a check in your spirit to seek the truth.

if you have been going to (the same same) church for 10 years now... and you still haven't understood why you go to church in the first place...
then it is way overdue that you to look for another place to go where you would actually find the answers to the why questions.
if you really believe in God, pray for your concerns & ask for His guidance.
if you are fed up with sects & denominations, try going to non-denominational, or non-sectarian churches (who teach the full gospel of the Christ)
one last thing, you will get to know people by their fruits, if all you fellowship with are the hollier than thou pack, you are in the wrong place (not unless if you want to be a Pharisee).

Have you tried a different church in the same denomination? If you have and are still unsatisfied with your denomination feel free to look around. Find a church that you are comfortable worshipping in, not one that makes you feel worse.
I grew up Lutheren and it was a nice church, not one I am still affiliated with but a nice church, I still see the pastor and his family when I go home because they are good people.
Good Luck!

I have been to UPC and didn't experience that. Perhaps it is an attitude problem in that individual Church you are attending. Try another UPC Church.
Or come to a Church Of God, we would love to have you, we are looking for young people whit a Vision to reach the lost beyond our walls !

I'd shop around a little before I made any decisions--check out some other chuches, talk to the people there, and see what you think. You might like a Methodist or Episcopalian church, to start with--two churches that have shown quite a bit in the past years that they are indeed concerned with reaching out.

Church is actually all about community. You just need to find a community that better fits you and your ideals. Maybe even a different pentecostal apostolic church would work better for you.

Try the catholic church or orthodox church, they are the same ones that have been created by the laying of hands from the times of Jesus's apostles and they do not change with people's whims.
They also continue to celebrate the Jewish feasts in Christian settings, in the manner Jesus Christ asked us to continue.

I would recommend to you to start visiting other churches and reading about the different denominations. Pick one that suits your beliefs and lifestyle. Try to find out which one was started by Jesus Christ and which one has an unbroken line of seccesion from Jesus and the Apostles. That probably would be the true Christian church.
