I have celiac disease. Here are the complications I've had so far, and I"m wondering if others have them too, and what you've done... or any recommendations. Anything helps! I'm not eating gluten anymore, but I still have a messed up system.
Turning vegan helped a bit with fatigue.
psoriasis, anemia, fatigue, poor immune system, dry skin, depression, headaches, random tummy pains once in a while, sore joints (I'm 21--shouldn't have those!), and dry, brittle nails and hair.
One big ball of sexiness, to be sure.

**Celiac disease is otherwise known as gluten intolerance. Gluten=the protein in wheat, oats, barley, rye, spelt, kamut, teff.
It messes up the intestines when gluten is ingested, resulting in damage and malabsorption, digestive problems, etc.
Malnourishment, illnesses, depression, nutrient deficiencies, the list is endless. Anything that can result in not absorbing nutrients correctly. **
