It will be tricky to train with a torn muscle but I'd say your best bet is to use a recumbent bicycle. This will keep your upper body the most stationary of any cardio workout. Even still, unless you've gotten the OK from your doctor, I'd be very careful about working out. Better to miss a week of workouts than make the tear worse and miss two weeks! Once on the recumbent bicycle I would take it easy. If you're this concerned about working out, even when injured, I'm guessing you really go at it. Instead of high intensity training just add 30 minutes onto the workout and take an easier pace. This will keep your cardiovascular endurance up so that when you're healed you can jump right back into it all!!
