neither! both are temporary pains that help you get through life.its better to face the music rather than live every day in regret of not having asked her.life is too short and if you dont come out with the truth soon you will be burdened under it.of course both the things hurt.but if everyone was afraid of pain of rejection no one would have lived a life of happiness.dont fear rejection accept it after all failure makes you fearless.it gives you the courage and the experience that ensures your success the next time.dont live in fear but live fearlessly and thats the only secret of victory.its just a crush and life doesnot stop if she says no.good luck

Well, I can only answer this from a female perspective. I'd say that rejection hurts more, although not asking can be painful if later on you hear that your crush is going out with someone else. In this case, you have to assess whether you'd prefer the hurt of rejection or the uncertainty of not knowing how that person feels.

Don't not ask. You never know what will happen just do it. If she rejects you then go on, it wasn't meant to be. Don't be afraid of rejection. You may be hurt for a little while but over time you will get over it and find someone else.

It hurts more when 5 years later you find out from your old crush--who have since moved on--that they would have gone out with you had you asked because they liked you also.
I think that rejection does hurt, but can be gotten over with the right mindset. As long as one does not take it personal and start to think that they are just undesirable. I think that not making a move will hurt more in the long run.

Being rejected hurts more, but live your life with no regrets. Ask her out. I'm 36 and have been there before. Good Luck!

Getting rejected, 'cause not asking doesn't hurt as much as getting rejected

Definitely ask her out!!! Go for what you want, because you'll get over rejection much better than you'll get over regret. You have to start somewhere!!! And, if it doesn't work out, you'll know why, and it wont be because you never went for it!
And, depending on the situation, shes probably waiting for you to ask her!! Thats how it was with me and my boyfriend, and we've been together for three years--just imagine how he would feel if he never asked me!
good luck!! :)

Never finding out is worse because there will be no closure. At least if you ask and get rejected, you won't have to wonder what might have been.

You will carry regrets with you longer than rejection. So not asking her out will hurt you more in the long run.

The rejection is no fun...but by never asking how long do you wonder what "might have been"? At least if you ask, you know...no regrets about not having tried...you can put it behind you and move on...
