I love the analogy. I also love the excuse making....
Jesus is both God and the Son of God. Jesus walked on water and turned some fish and a loaf of bread into enough to feed many.... If thats not magic, I dont know what is. Therefore, your logic is correct in assuming that God then must be evil since he performed magic.
Why is this logic hard to follow??

God is not a magical being. Omnipotence is not magic, but entirely rational and attained by logically traceable means.
Magic is something that performs in an unpredictable, surprising way, and this ceratinly does not apply to God. God is the most righteous entity in the Universe, and Justice cannot be based on magic.
For a logical explanation of God and the Universe read "Rational Spirituality" on the Dhaxem website. It is fast growing knowledge, followed by the thinking people, and originating directly from the Source.

Christians who say that magic is evil don't know what they are taking about. Nowhere in the Bible does it say magic is evil. I'm sure Jesus would have gotten a kick out of watching a magic show back in the day.

God does not do magic. Magic is Illusion, which is something that deceives by producing a false or misleading impression of reality. God is not the deceiver, satan is, and you ought to know that, and God is not a magical being, like a D'jinn. He is the creator of all things, not some magical, mythical being that lives in a never-never land. He sits upon the Throne of Heaven, and is your ruler, as in King, whether you like it or not, He did not have to ask your opinion, He created you.

and God is the base of all Love in the universe
