Now, Silvio, those terms are very subjective and very personal. Particularly with the most ridiculous somebody will feel insulted. I will skip to the most beautiful: Italian, Spanish.
The best ? For sciences: english and German
For love: Spanish
For insults: Spanish
For music: Italian
For elegancy: French
The easier: Romanian, Italian, English in a way
The worse: I'd better not go there

Most ridiculous: Klingon (yes, it's actually considered a language, even though it's made up and only Trekkies know it); Most beautiful: Italian. Easiest: I think English since I'm a native, but probably German really is the easiest. The best and worst: That's sort of a preference thing, but I think English is the best, since I speak it and all, and there's no such thing as the worst language, but I have to admit I have a hard time picturing something beautiful and stirring being said in German or Chinese. I could be wrong though...

Who can decide if a language is ridiculous or worse than others? People will mostly say this about a language that is very different to their native language and is therefore hard to learn for them, or a language that is very similar to their native language, so they feel it is a "strange" and "wrong" version of their language. And how can people decide which language is the most beautiful or best? Many know only their native language, or one more language, or maybe they know four or five languages, but they never know all languages so how can they decide? And no language is objectively easier or harder than another, every language is easy if it is similar to your native language or if you learn it at an early age.

No language is ridiculous! Some of them just sound a bit funny; personally I find Finnish to be the most fun to listen to. The most beautiful language must be English, - when spoken properly that is, as in standard RP. The easier language is German, - they have a lot of rules, but at least they stick to them! The best language in the world is surely in the eye of the beholder; I am Danish but prefer English ;oD, and I find Dutch the worst, it doesn't sound like a language, more like a throat decease (again the eye of the beholder or rather the speaker! People are welcome to think the same about Danish!)

No language is ridiculous except for Esperanto which doesn't really count. My favourite language is Hungarian - any language that can say 'I was able to remind you' all in one word (emlekeztethettelek) has got to be cool! Amharic is the most beautiful, but I like the sound of Portuguese and Spanish too. Whether a language is easy or not depends on how closely related it is to your own native language.

I nominate Vietnamese as the most ridiculous AND the worst. I used to hear it on the bus every day and it made me literally queasy. French is beautiful. German was easy, for me. The best is probably the many dialects they speak in Britain (I'm an American but an absolute Anglophile). And, I love Korea and lived there and learned the language, but . . . to a foreigner, it sounds like one of the worst, I think. Everything people said about phlegm and throat-clearing and guttural and harsh--hoo boy. In spades. And for some reason, worse when women speak it than men.

the most ridiculous? afrikaans. it sounds like a dog barking
the most beautiful? french
the easiest? this all depends on your what your mother tongue is. an english person should find german easier than spanish or french because english and german are germanic languages. and vice versa, a spanish person should find french easier because they're both romance languages. anything written in the traditional latin alphabet should be easier for english people, so languages like russian, indian and chinese hard to grasp.
the best? english, obviously.
the worst? american english......no, probably welsh. it should just die
The China Doll: that is one of the most ridiculous things i have ever heard in my life. you could do that with any language if you wanted to. if you can't grasp the basics of the english language like knowing that letters sound different in different contexts then maybe you should be speaking something else, like sign language. you see, in that, everything is done without sound, but in hand form. sound fun?????

The best language in my opinion is Finnish (although I'm not Finnish myself!).
* A language that uses 15 different cases on a daily basis, one of them being the partitiivi which is extremely hard to explain to a non native speaker, but is essential if you really want to master the language.
* A language so compact that it only needs one word to express frases like: "from my father" (isästäni) or "in your house" (talossasi)
* A language that has 3 different forms of plural that are often hardly recognizable compared to the original singular
* A language where ä and ö are seperate vowels that appear at the end of the alphabet
* A language that has its own word for "computer": tietokone, which means something like knowing machine.
* A language that only has one word for "he" and "she" (hän)
* A language without articles (so no "the" or "a")

No language can be said to be ridiculous if millions of them speak it. What I believe to be ridiculous is the person due to his/her ignorance of the language tries by all means to tarnish it. On a lighter note though, some languages are incomprehendable, but why the curiosity of wanting to know what the other is saying?

Most ridiculous: The African tribes who communicate by clicking their tongues and stuff....
Most beautiful: Italian
Easiest: Hard to say, depending on what your native language is. Since mine is English, Spanish is very easy for me... but for a non-English speaker, English is a very hard language to learn.
