There is no "Inshallah" about it. America is great because of the principles our country was founded upon. Everyone is entitled to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness here. Is that why Muslims are mad? Because our chicks don't walk around moping in drapes and looking like hunchbacks behind men unless they truly suffer a clinical depression or scoliosis?
Yes. This place is great. Not as good as it once was or should be due to faulty leadership, but it beats the hell out of Saudi anyday. I'm proud to have been a contributor to the protection of freedom and the interests of my people.

Muslimah, Apple is asking where she might be able to find an avatar such as yours. Are you able to help her? Here is the link to her question. Best to you and your family.

Edit: I think that the US and Canada are both pretty tolerant of everyone's religions. There seem to be quite a few outspoken people in this country, but you'll have that anywhere. In my experiences with Canadians, they are very laid back. I rather like their attitudes in general.

The United States does have problems-here and there-with different religions. We find most people have at least some bit of prejudice. But, it is the best for religious freedom.
I would like to add here--------the Evangelical Christians (including Bush) are trying their best to change our Constitution and laws to favor what they believe. And, that is very scary. It would take away alot of the non Christians' rights.

I've never been there so I'll take your word for it sister.
P.S.: my grandparents and half the family are Americans and I've never heard them complain so it must be a good place for Muslims.
just curious, is it a good place to bring up Muslims children too?

Depends upon which sect of Christianity you belong to...
Sorry.
Actually, I think the US is remarkably open to a variety of religious beliefs and philosophies. Not all by a long shot, but many.
