I agree. Unfortunately, few people ask about the other religions, and they are so mild mannered in their opinions ( a great attitude, I might add) that they don't force their beliefs on others. I would be very interested in knowing more.I just have no idea what questions to ask.

I don't think any one is preventing people of other religions from participating here. I have noticed some good questions - and answers from Muslims, and from professed atheists and agnostics. It is true that more is coming from the Christian or "christian" community. But given the percentage, population-wise, of those claiming to be Christians in the English speaking community, that is not too surprising.
As regards freedom of religion (in some of the answers), I don't think because someone blasts someone else's religious belief he is preventing freedom of religion. One should go to a country where there is real intolerance, then come back and talk a bout what lack of religious freedom means!

I disagree with Kapute2, "the right to believe", now how are my beliefs going to be policed, mind you I don't share my main beliefs with others for fear of the "men in the white coats".
I am not Christian, but I like to believe in the ancient myths, preferably the Norse Gods.
I also believe our sleeping dreams are more than synapses and all that other science jargon.
I believe what's in the Bible but only from a historical point of view.
It would be an incredibly boring world if we all believed in One thing. Your right, it's good that we are "allowed" to have different beliefs.

I agree. Seems most questions come down to Christian vs. Atheist, and most people don't seem to realize there are other choices (for example, there are some Jews here). Lots of Christians don't seem to realize that not all Christians think alike, either. For example, there are many religious people that believe in evolution. Unfortunately the moderate voices are often the less strident ones, and they get lost in all the shouting and posturing from the extremes.

I agree, people are either preaching about Christianity on this site, or they're insulting it, and pointing out the flaws. What about all the other religions?

While freedom of religion exists, it is not practiced too widely. Just as this thread it is a reflection of human behaviour. The majority get all the attention.

I agree. People here would rather argue about their differences.

What makes this country beautiful is that our Father created it and we have only corrupted it.
