Chunky Guacamole:
2 ripe avocados, pitted and peeled
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
2 ripe plum tomatoes, seeded and cut into 1/4-inch dice
1/3 cup finely chopped sweet onion
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
Hot sauce, optional
Mash the avocados with a fork until chunky. Stir in the lime juice, tomatoes, onion, cilantro, and hot sauce, if using. Season to taste with salt and ground pepper. Serve at room temperature.
Yield: 2 cups

This is a very simple recipe and it is delicious.
Easy Guacamole Recipe
2 ripe avocados
1 small onion
1 clove garlic
1 small tomato
1 1/2 Tbsp lime juice (or juice of 1 fresh lime)
salt and pepper to taste
Peel avocados and remove the pit.Peel and mince the onion and the garlic.Chop the tomato.Mash the avocado in a bowl (fun for the kids) and then stir in the remaining ingredients.

"Guacamole Dip" - 2 cups
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 large avocado; peeled and mashed
1 small tomato; chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup minced onion
1/4 cup chopped green chilies
1 tablespoon lemon juice

I usually use 3 or 4 avocados. Squeeze 1/2 lemmon in, add some salt. I get some good pi-co digio from the Hispanic Store and mix that in. Tastes great.

the only things you really need are avocadoes and a fork for mashing them. I also like to add a little garlic, a little lime juice, a little cilantro or parsley, and maybe a little jalapeno. the simpler the better when it comes to guacamole, in my opinion.

Those are all good variations, but use lime juice instead of lemon, as it doen't add so much tartness.
Also, if you leave the avocado seeds in the bowl with the guac, it won't turn brown NEARLY as fast!
I also cheat and just add a little of my favorite salsa to my mashed avocado.

you need tomatoes onion Chiles jalapenos avocado and salt you chop them into little pieces and then pit them together and stir it
