Yes, there are haters. Every time we voice our opinions, which are based on our beliefs, then we get thumbs down, or called pathetic, stupid, or any other ungodly name. How many times do I have to say it, we all have a right to voice ourselves. It doesn't take all the name calling to make a point.

A lot of it, yes. You can't say anything about God or ask a question about Him without lots of people saying something mean right back. It sucks though because a lot of people see christians as a pain in the a**! I don't know what kind of God-loving people they talk to, but it seems they encounter lots of "religious" christians that tell them they're going to hell if they don't love God. That's not how it is at all. The only difference between christians and non-christians is Jesus, and that doesn't make us better, just happier!

Dear jane1,

I do not know if you read the answer I sent to you regarding your last question, albeit, let me go on further. Jane, man was created in God's image and was to have fellowship with God forever in a perfect world (Gardern of Eden). When man rebelled against God and sinned, the entire human race came under the dominion of satan and sin. Man, now, became the enemy of God and was a servant of satan. All of mankind is a prisoner of satan unless the Lord Jesus translates them out of the kingdom of darkness in the kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ. Remember the verse in John 1 ....and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. Christ is the light of the world and the kingdom of light is the kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Man cannot enter into the kingdom of light by just wishing for it. Sin must be paid for because God is Holy, just, and righteous. Now the penalty for sin is eternal damnation so how can man go to hell forever and come out at the other end? Only God could make this awesome payment but remember, Adam, a man transgressed the law, so a man had to redeem (buy back) mankind. So God became a man--the Lord Jesus--and paid for the sins of those whom He chose before the foundation of the world. God never intended to save every person! "For many are called, but few are chosen." These ones whom Christ died for are called the "elect", or "remant", or "saints", or "wheat", or "chosen", or "sheep" etc.
The True Gospel is offensive to man because most people are servants of satan and sin. Read Romans 3:11--"There is non that seeketh after God." The Lord comes to seek and to save His people--the elect. Satan is ruling in this world right now and the true believers are here as ambassadors for Christ. We are viewed as pilgrims and strangers because we do not follow the world system. Jesus even said to his disciples, "Marvel not if the world hate you. Know that they hated me first.
That is why here on Y/A, true christians (saved; elect) are going to be mocked and despised. Also know that there are some here who really believe that they are saved but, in reality, they are not (Matthew 7:21-23). The true believers (saved; chosen) love the Lord and will keep His commandments (1 John 2:3, 4).

No,I believe you are incorrect. The Christians and atheists go at it about equally, with the Muslims getting hit from both camps. If it appears to you that they don't take their licks, tune in after midnight. It's a whole new ballgame.

There are a few Muslims that attack the Christians, but for the most part they leave the atheists alone. Everyone else gets along pretty well.

Most days when I get on here I feel that way. However, I was just thinking that today I was not reading the "aweful Christian" questions that I am used to coming across.

Yes, anybody with any common sense hates Christians. Plus, alot of people say "I'm Christian" and think that's all that they have to say or do. Nobody here much buys that BS. Hmmmmm

Yeah, it's just a microcosm of society in general though. Better get used to it because it's going to get a lot worse, on here and out there in the real world.

I don't think so, I don't hate Christians, everyone is entitled to their own belief and opinion.
Being a non-Christian, I do find it annoying being constantly told that " I am going to burn in Hell "

i guess you got the answer just be reading the posts...it seems more to me that it proves the Bible correct when it says you will be hated for my names' sake. Also, that when there are people who truly love and want Jesus' salvation they will be attacked by demons and dark spirits.

There is a lot of it. Not all. Just remember,

'No servant is greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also (John 15:20)
