humankind have always wondered about that... where did we come from... hmmm..
that is why we have all these theories (or religions as some people would call some of them).
and the primordial soup theory is one of those theories...
(& yes it does say that humans are just very very very very very well aged pieces of slime).
and that is really not that far remote from...
the Adam & Eve Story
...
...God has not sent rain on the earth...
...streams came up from the earth & watered the ground...
...God formed man from the dust of the ground...
...breathed life into his nostrils...

U win the award for stupidest question. No wonder people are having so many problems nowadays. Since u obviously beleive in evolution, then why is man going in the wrong direction? Why are there more genetic diseases, mental disorders, and aberrations? Why are humans getting more animalistic? Those would be better questions to wonder than if we're aged chemical sludge.

If "primordial soup" is a euphemism for amino acids, oxygen and carbon molecules, then yes it's true.
