Nope. Hatred is evil. If you hate anyone with such force then you are being negatively influenced. Seek peace.

During the time of the Crusades, St. Francis of Assisi went to see the sultan of his time.

While neither managed to convert the other, Francis found the man very likeable.

He came home and made it against his "rule" (the guidelines for the first, second and third orders) for Franciscans to sign up for the Crusades.

Franciscans do not fight.

Then he had a vision of Jesus and the Blessed Mother. They came and granted him a "full pardon" for one's earthy sins if one visited the church called the "little portion" or portiuncula - with the standard requirements of confession, communion and prayers for the Holy Father.

At the time of Francis, the only way one could obtain such a full pardon was to sign up for the Crusades and fight.

Francis went to the pope and actually obtained approval for the "Portiuncula Pardon."

Francis essentially put an end to the Crusades. People just stopped fighting.

Don't hate. Seek peace!

shahbash--you are crazy, and you must be the one who hates. I am a Jew, and I consider the Arabs my blood brothers. We both share the father Abraham. I do not put Arabs into the same category as I do terrorists----from all over the world, no matter who or where they are from, what their religion, etc.,.

And, to answer the question-------I think the message of Mohammad makes alot more sense than Christianity does. So, why should I hate him?

1 John 3:11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.

13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hates you.

14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
