Any witch hazel--it's all the same.It does help.
What helps even more is Seabreeze brand astringent. It does not contain witch hazel, but really works to dry up oily skin.

'Dickinsons' do a Witch hazel skincare range and are available in most stores, inc Walmart. It is a gentle range so doesn't dry out your skin too much.
Witch hazel is good for oily skins as it's a natural astringent and helps remove excess oils and dirt from the skin.

Witch hazel for oily skin would make a lot of sense since it's oil hazel for a witch's face. No water! Just OIL!! Remember in the Wizard of Oz when that witch was doused with water . . . She melted. So, that would make sense. Although, I just found out recently that the whole Oz thing was nothing but that red-haired gal's dream. Really. Can you imagine? NPI, obviously.

Witch hazel is like rubbing alcohol, that name is most prominant. Look in the isle with alcohol, and sometimes in drug stores they will have it with other astringents too. It's milder on your skin than straight alcohol and it's a lot cheaper than name brand stuff.

You can find it at walgreens, cvs, or walmart anytype of store like that. It is usually near the rubbing alchohol. I don't know a certain brand but the label says witch hazel. If you do get it, use it after you wash your face.
Witch hazel is also good for bug bites, it helps relieve the itching.

You can buy just straight witch hazel ... usually in the store next to the rubbing alcohol. Comes in the same type bottle as rubbing alcohol. It's usually just a generic or store brand name - not a particular brand or product.

Dickinsons which hazel does NOT work, and smells disgusting!!! From my experience the best thing you can do to get rid of excess oil is to: A. Exfoliate Daily B. Use clean and clear astringent C. MOISTURIZE!!! i know this sounds silly when talking about getting rid of oil, but it really does help.
