I have the EXACT same problem. I had great skin when i wouldnt wash my face, or i would just rinse it with water, and now i break out all the time (because of the excess fat i eat) so i started using cleansers, and now i cant get rid of the acne. I also noticed my skin has small patches of dry skin, most of them i can even peel off..(it is soo weird) I think, if not washing our faces works for us, then we shouldnt. I think you could even get like stridex pads (i used them like once every other night to wipe off the excess oil) and thats it!!! You dont have to wash your face all the time, if it works for you not to, then dont, you have clear skin from not washing, so dont......i am learning that too!! good luck

There is no rule saying you have to wash you face. I wash mine with an exfoliating scrub about once a month beacuse I have the same problem. All other days I just use plain hot water. If soap is too drying to your skin, don't use it. Try a mild scrub for sensitive skin every so often.

You have dry skin, and your face wash is not helping your situation. I recommend you find a cream cleanser that works for you, and not a foaming or a regular one. They will dry out your skin. Also try finding one that is specially made for dry skin. Aveeno has some good cream cleansers for dry skin, so does Ambi. Good luck!

It depends on what you wash your face with. I NEVER use soaps or cleansers.
Use WitchHazel. You can find it at any drug store. It's all natural and has NO ingredients that will effect or dry up your skin.

Well--- why uses soap? I mean don't you have something for you face--ONLY?
I have been using Neutrogena..... and I love it. I have a caramel complexion and works for me. I guess your face is a little sensitive so you might want to try baby soap, like Johnson & Johnson.... !!!! Good luck!!!!

It's entirely possible that you are allergic to the soap that you're using. Look at the ingredients and try a product that doesn't have those.

Try using an antibacterial cream on your face because that happened to me once and my cousin who is a nurse said to try that and it worked.
