My grandmother says she has dental insurance but is not sure of the name of the company she is with. Is there a way to find out if she has insurance?

If you can't find her insurance card in her wallet or the policy in her papers--perhaps check with her DDS to see what they have on file.

Yes. Find her regular insurance card and look through her wallet to see if she has a dental card. She herself, must call the insurance number on the regular insurance and ask.

I assume she is retired. If she is getting medical coverage through her company's retirement plan check with the company or union she worked for. If she is paying for insurance check her checks. I don't believe medicare covers dental.

Yes, go through the checkbook and see who she paid the premium to. It's pretty unlikely that she has dental coverage, except through her employer.
