What will happen if I use my microsoft office disk and put the program on another computer with the same code I already used?




it's because I have the program on my home computer and my brother-in-law wants it on his...but doesn't have the money to buy it right now

That would be against the copy-write laws.
One person can have the same application on two computers that are registered under the username. For example, my laptop and PC have the same Norton's and M/S Office. This is legal. Putting the applications on your brother-in-law's computer is illegal.

Nothing will happened....just make sure ur Brother-in-law wont update his wondows through microsoft update....beside there is another absolutely free office software in opensource...it is something openoffice.org...it has everything in it...powerpoint,excel,word....and also support microsoft office formats...
