i have curly frizzy hair so most of the time i straighten it. but now i am kinda tired of that and have been going w/ curly hair. but it is cold outside and i have to leave my hair wet to get it to do what i want. does anyone have a suggestion as to a dry style i could do that won't leave me looking like a poodle?

My hair is the same way, I keep it straight now but my senior year in high school I was so busy I wore it "scrunched" everyday to save time. Here is my solution to keep you from freezing to death in the winter because I know how much it sucks to go outside with the wet hair. The night before, go ahead and wash your hair and do your regular routine- leave in conditioner gel, whatever- then don't go to bed till it is either completely dry or almost dry.
Then first thing when you wake up take a water bottle, lightly spritz your hair and put hair spray whatever to revive your do. Then eat breakfast, do your makeup, get dressed..by the time you leave your hair should be either completely dry or only a little damp so you won't freeze.
This keeps your dry and warm and I even found my curls looked less frizzy when they were touched up, not fresh.

my hair is the exact same way.1. A couple Christmases ago, my brother got me those leapord print soft curlers off of TV, called wrap, snap, and go! and they are the greatest things ever! I like them alot.2.Also an easy thing is to put skinny serum in your hair-by Paul Mitchell, while it's wet, along with a light holding moose, while doing your scrunching technique w/ your hands, then blow dry, and then scruntch w/ a light layer of gel, then light coat of hairspray. The frizz-ease doesn't work if it's like my hair. 3.If you get a perm, it'll hold some of the frizz down, then you can fix the rest w/ hairspray.4. Hot oil treatment (also didn't work for me, but I've heard it works often)

frizz serums work okay...but they don't always let you do what you want them to do. The best thing to do (because I have curly hair) is to use a good conditioner. Like Biolage has one, it comes in like a jar, instead of a squeeze bottle like most. Also, if you put mousse and gel in your hair and blow dry it with a diffuser, that's a good look. I usually do that, so I don't have to walk around with wet hair in the mornings.

Infusium conditioner & shampoo, there's also a leave in treatment but you dont really need it. blow dry it about 3/4 of the way and when it's kinda dry, run your fingers through with frizz reducing serum.
