After all the dust has settled
He told me personally
"When they finish their breakfast
They will nail me and hang me to dry"
I've kept this secret until today
Some weird things is happening to my computer
I swear it is not a joke

First of all, I believe Jesus was crucified on a Thursday ' that would account for the 1st day of the week - resurrection day being on the 3rd day. The day after the crucifxion was a sabbath, leading people to think it was friday to saturday. However in the Pentateuch, special holidays were referred to as being special sabbaths. If Passover fell on a Friday that week, then it was a special sabbath, thus 2 sabbaths in a row, which would explain why the ladies had to wait till the 3rd day before going to the gravesite.
He was crucified around 9 am (the 3rd hour, starting from 6 am. - Mark 15:25)

The Jewish Sabbath started at about 4:00 P.M. on Friday so he had to be down from the cross and put in his tomb by then. They say he started the way of the cross at about 9:00 A.M--got to Calvary at about 11:00 or 12:00 where he was immediately nailed to the cross and suffered until 3:00 P.M. when he died. That gave Joseph of Aramethia time to claim his body and take care of it with some help.
This helps with the timing problem that people wonder about as far as Jesus rising on the third day.--He died on Friday but, at 4:00 it technically turned into another day so from 4:00 P.M. Friday to 4:00 P.M. Saturday was the second day then at 4:00 P.M. Saturday it started the third day.

the answer is too complicated as like Easter it moves around. you calculate it by going to a small hill outside of padua in Italy on the 17th of June at midnight, you stand on one leg, (your left) bend over to an angle of 37 degrees spinning a dalmatian puppy weighing 1.27 kilos by the tail. hop around until you can see the planet Saturn and note the difference between your angle and Saturn's from the azimuth. pick a number, any number and divide the angle by it. you then have the time of the Crucifixion for the following good friday

No one knows. Maybe the time of day is mentioned but its not gonna say st 1 o;clock Jesus went up on the cross.
If the movies are to be believed it looks like mid day they put him up and he stayed all night.

The Romans were creatures of habit. They would have risen at dawn, did their ablutions and paid devotions to their deities, then breakfasted and Jesus would have been crucified at about 8.30.
